Seems to me like we already KNOW how to practice restorative justice when the offender is a white child. I've seen teachers making the a child apologize to the janitor and he seemed to have learned a valuable lesson. The real challenge is to practice restorative justice with ALL children
Brian Sauders
01:14:51
So many systemic issues to address - how can we do better in government to work across jurisdictions and agency functions to fight racial inequality?
Emma Gonzalez-Laders
01:16:22

Is it possible to use restorative practices with family systems directly. Thinking about situations when youth and their families when the family has to work toward family reunification once a youth is placed outside of their home. I recently became aware of Restorative Families work that is being done in Baltimore
RUDY FELDER
01:16:48
When we fail to provide our youth with an education that teaches empowerment and responsibility. They fail to see how they can fit in and become productive in society as a result some seek acceptance outside of society and become involved in anti-societal activities that often times lead to act of crime. Education is one KEY in providing the path to be successful .
